CONTRIBUTORS TO THE PHISH REPORT NETWORK
Millions of fraud (phishing) emails are sent everyday in an attempt to steal people's identities and break into their online accounts. The problem of online fraud will not be solved by one company, organization or government agency alone but by a community of people and groups working together to prevent phishing attacks. The Phish Report Network (PRN) is a community of concerned companies, government agencies and individuals working to combat fraud on the Internet by sharing information on the latest phishing attacks. Anyone can contribute to the PRN by sending attempted phishing attacks to Symantec upon receiving a fraudulent email message.

When the information is received by Symantec, it is quickly verified to ensure the site is fraudulent and still active, and then the web site address is added to the current list of phishing web sites to be blocked by PRN members. This "black list" of phishing sites is then used by some of the largest companies on the Internet to block online fraud in their toolbars, security products, antispam features and services, web-based mail and other solutions. Additionally, law enforcement representatives also participate in the PRN, allowing contributors to simultaneously report fraud sites for blocking and for criminal investigation. Join in the fight against online fraud today by contributing to the PRN.
