RECEIVERS IN THE PHISH REPORT NETWORK
Phish Report Network Receivers have access to the central database containing the aggregated "block list" of known phishing sites submitted by the Network's Senders. Receivers subscribe to a web service and can download these lists at regular intervals.

Receivers can use the "block list" in various ways to prevent users from visiting phishing sites and to thwart the proliferation of attacks. For example, an ISP might utilize the aggregated lists to stop spam messages that incorporate black-listed Web site addresses from reaching the Inboxes of their customers. Alternatively, Receivers might choose to block known phishing sites by using a browser toolbar to prevent customers from inadvertently visiting the fraudulent sites.
